Yes, as you can see, i’ve started moving to Textpattern.
I’ve only got a few more things to get down on the screen for it to be complete. yayy! Lets hope Textpattern treats me a little better than Movable type did. Although the new MT version (still in beta) looks very promising, I just dont think its worth it.

After much debate, and consideration, I’ve decided to move the blog to a new blogging app called TextPattern. I’ve found that it offers me much more control than Movable-Type does, as well as has a few features that already come installed that Movable-Type doesn’t.

I’m not saying Movable type isn’t good, and shouldn’t be used. i’ve just found that Textpattern is better for what I want from my blog.

Expect a new design within a week.

After a LONG (I mean really freekin long) winter.. I was happy to see the summer season coming. Now that its here.. I JUST WANT IT TO COOL DOWN! Seriously though, its friggen hot outside. And to make things worse, you would assume that when we have a light shower during the day, that it would help the heat? Nope, not in Toronto. In Toronto, when its hot out and it rains, it just makes it hotter, because the rain that hits the ground evaporates and causes it to get more humid outside.
Simply WONDERFUL.

The smog too.. i’ve never really experienced smog like this before (being from the “pure” town of Windsor Ontario).

All I can hope is that it tones down soon cuz i hate sweatin’. Not to mention I dont like dealing with all the smelly people who for some reason decide that they are too good to shower and maybe put on some anti-persprant.

Just so everyone is clear, I am using the new (right now its in beta) MovableType 3.2. So far its been swaaaaeeeet. So easy to install, so fast, and hopefully it will keep the spam away. Not to take away from mail spam, or other types of spam (the can kind), but Blog spam is especially bad. Basically because it usually becomes a public piece of information for anyone to read instantly. And in my case, where I am trying to find work, or inviting family members to read my blog, it just doesn’t look good to have a link to Debbie does Dallas on my blog comments.

I look foreword to seeing more from the six-apart gang!

So in the course of switching over from flashpunk.ca being my major blog center or whatever you would like to call it… I managed to loose 3 years of blogging archives in the process. *pats self on the back* I would like to just say that i’ve been having these types of lapse’s of memory a lot over the last few days. For what reason? I dont really know.

Anyway, we shall move on. Minus 3 years of my life during my school years. (i’m a little sad).
Lets please have a moment of silence for my lost blog archives……….
