Still loving my new iPhone4. The camera and the video capability is awesome, pretty much exactly what i’ve wanted in the iPhone for about 3-4 years now. Today I ordered this sweet Leica M8 skin for the back (I already have a front protector for it) off of Etsy. If you like it, check out TopDecal on Etsy for more skins.

I am a consumer whore, and at the same time an Apple fanatic. This is a dangerous combination. It has caused me to purchase multiple different computers. Mostly for the novelty, but also because I like to be on the cusp of what is new and interesting in tech.
First moments with the iPad
My first few moments with the iPad were pretty normal as far as any Apple product goes. The packaging is nicely done, displaying the ‘goods’ right away, giving you a sense of something great is to come. Starting the device for the first time brought up the regular “connect to itunes” icon, after connecting, it allowed me to skip syncing and start to play.
Ok, this is a major sign of my geekdom – being this excited about a content management system… Maybe its just cuz i’m on the brink of doing some major web rebuilds – and seeing the new feature list is going to make things a lot cooler, easier, and just really awesome.

I ordered a new Macbook Pro this morning! Thanks to the sale that Apple has going for ‘Black Friday’ which is actually more of an American thing, but it seems to have infiltrated Canadian consumer culture as well! Wahoo!
I haven’t had an actual computer available to me at home for a few months now – i’ve been working from the office a LOT – so this will be a nice change for me, being able to get stuff done from home, instead of having to be in the office every waking moment – not that its so horrible.
I’m looking forward to the 7hr battery life (supposedly), and also the SD card slot that has been integrated into the body of the Macbook Pro’s.
I’ll try and post a review once I get it – i’ve also got to catch up on some blogs about my new Guitar!
