We played CMW (Canadian Music Week) this past Friday night. This year, we played at the Supermarket – not normally one of my favorite venues. Its a bit weird/awkward as a venue because of the layout – its a long room, with a sectioned off part separating the stage/live area from a restaurant/bar. I should also add that i’ve had a few bad experiences with bouncers here, which probably sways my opinion of it as a venue.
Friday night was different though. It was packed.
We played pretty good, and had a good turn out. Sold some CDs, and signed a ton of autographs, with our fancy silver markers. Our friend Erika took some video of us on stage. Here are a few of those:
