I’ve been growing my hair out for some time now… probably close to 2 years. Its been a long time, seriously. I’ve threatened numerous times to just chop it off and go bald – but i’ve resisted.
Last week though, I cut it off… well most of it…
And last night, I even shaved off the beard! I’m now baby bum smooth.
It hasn’t been that long since 2.7.1 came out, but still, these guys are cookin’ along!
WordPress 2.8 was released late last night, and has a couple new features, bug fixes, and improvements over the previous versions. Most notably its much faster. It just seems ‘snappier’ (hate when people say that about new software).

There are lots of things coming g up for me in the next two weeks! Im pretty pumped for NXNE this year, as I’ll be playing 3 shows that weekend, one not an actual NXNE show, but will be cool in it’s own respect.
I will also be playing with Ben Standage’s other band ‘The Hots’ for (I think) their first NXNE gig at Neutral in Kensington market on Saturday. I’m especially looking foreward to this gig because I’m going to be learning a bunch of songs… Not that I’m complaning, but I’ve been playing more or less, the same Birds of Wales tunes for the last 3.5 years.
Speaking of Birds of Wales, we’ve got a lot going on too. Our LONG awaited disc is slated to be released at the end of July-likely to be availabe on iTunes. Were also readying another disc in the mean time, filled with unreleased tracks that we think everyone should hear. And even more exciting news, we’ve got a whole batch of new songs that were going to start demoing, and readying to be recorded – potentially to be released next year, depending on timing.
