If anyone so happens to stumble upon this website and know anything about guitar amp speakers, i’m trying to figure out what kind of speakers these are (I think they’re Fanes), and also how much they’re worth used. I’m upgrading my VOX AC30 to Celestion Alnico Blue Speakers.

I’ve got the same Rose Morris era AC30 with Fane speakers (ordered a pair of Celestion Blues today). I’m very curious about the change in sound, could you say something on that matter?
The Fane speakers are (according to Voxshowroom) 100 watt speakers.
hi i have the same vox. and to be honest, these speakers whist different to the blues, are very ariculate and dont break up as much.
the biggest change to the amp is replacing the tubes with good quality ones. i put EH12ax7′s in and the new MULLARD el84′s in the output stage……. its a new amp now with heaps of tone and balls.
you will save heaps of bucks and have a FANTASTIC sounding amp.
