I’ve had a lot of stuff going on lately, with work, the band, in addition to the rest of the stuff thats been going on in my life.. Its been leaving me feeling uncreative, and a bit stale. I’m actually missing being in school, sitting in the layout room, gluing freshly printed work to presentation board just in time to be reviewed by the class.
With all this stuff in mind, I’m thinking its time to start being a bit more professional with my work. I’m almost feeling like since I’ve been out of school, I’ve just been screwing around, doing whatever to get myself by (and I really do mean, doing whatever) day to day.
As I said, I’m feeling a little bit dry, and stale. Perhaps because I’ve been at a loss for visual creative thinking lately. I’ve been focused on programming mainly (which isn’t horrible).
Anyway, Diaryofarockstar.com is due for an update. New color scheme coming soon, as well as more frequent blogs, and maybe a redesign.
Hey Mikey boy!
I totally understand that feeling of creative staleness. I feel like I’ve been on a plateau for the last three months and am only now breaking out of it. Spring is coming which should help too, winter has a habit of distracting people and slowing them down a little.
Hugs
Nancy
