Wow, I cant believe its November 1st.. Even more, I cant believe that last night was halloween, and I didn’t get any candy.
Just thowing this out there. Am I the only one who feels old?
Wait, my sister just got a lot older on the 30th… ahhh, i dont feel so bad anymore.
Well, as you might have guessed it.. I’ve been busy as heck. Doing all sorts of things, notably, working, and playing.
Friday night at the Horseshoe was a success. The rain hindered us slightly, but I’d say our turn out was pretty respectable, and we all played well, which is pretty much all that matters.
This week, is another big week for Birds of Wales. We’re playing our first House of Blues show at the Phoenix with a band from the UK called “The Beautiful South”. It should be pretty wicked, and we’re quite excited to be on a lineup with this band.
Aside from those happenings, work has been pretty good. I had a lot to do this past weekend, and it appears that i’ll keep getting a steady flow of work until I leave for the UK, which is very good, because we all know what happened last time I was in the UK. Broke’sville.
To top it all off, I get my new apartment in two days. This is pretty exciting. I’m happy to be moving out of my current place.. It is nice, it is big, it is a lot of things. But I need a change of scenery. Bad, 2 years here has been too long.

Things are certainly ramping up at the Birds of Wales camp.. We’ve got so much stuff on the go, its great.. and crazy at the same time. This week, we’re playing at the Horseshoe Tavern.. which is probably the most important show that we’ve played to date.
Also, we have a few out of town shows coming up, Barrie, Montreal, Hamilton, not to mention that we’re heading out to the UK again Nov 15th for another tour.
Its all very exciting, and at the same time very scary.. Especially since we’ve got a couple new songs that we’re going to be debuting at all of these important gigs which looks as though are going to be on the new CD that we’re targeting to be out in Feb 2007.
Like I said. “Busy” is the word of choice.
I’ll be the first person to say that I just dont care much for politics, world issues, etc etc..
I was sent this today (after actually catching the story on CNN yesturday, and thinking it was kinda fishy).. Please watch it.. Especially if you happen to be American.
I haven’t really had a chance to post since i’ve been back from BC this week. The trip was great, and Vancouver was as beautiful as ever… Seriously, that part of the country is amazing. It actually makes Toronto look like a giant pile of puke..
