I’ve been sitting on my living room floor for the last 2 hours trying to get my Netgear WGT634U Wireless Router working. I’m at my wits end.. First I thought maybe it was overheating, then I thought maybe it was my stupid user error (surprisingly not), then I thought maybe it wasn’t the router, and it was actually the cable modem… Back and forth, reset, wait 10 mins, reset, wait, wait wait..
Then I was about to give up, I came upstairs to charge my laptop so I could go to Starbucks to use their internet (actually, to steal internet from a place across the street because it isn’t password protected), when suddenly…. IT STARTED WORKING! What the fuck?
Can anyone tell me what kind of router to buy so that this wont happen again?
