My whole morning.

This whole morning, I did nothing but listen to Radiohead and sleep. It was glorious.

Yes, one entire post was definitely required for that news, despite how exciting it may or may not be.

Die Web 2.0

I realized tonight that this whole web 2.0 thing is really starting to bug the shit out of me. Seriously. Can things get any blocky, or bubblier? Its really starting to bother me.

Wonder what the next new trend will be?

The Switch has been made!

yeah, i’ve been talking about it, now you see it. Diaryofarockstar.com is live, and Underfire.ca is now my personal portfolio site. The switch was easy and painless, a simple database transfer Wordpress theme copying, and it was done. I’m a happy camper, and everything seems to look like its working just fine.

Just a note, I’m looking to take on some freelance work, so if you know anyone who is looking, send them my way. Just give them the link to Underfire.ca and ask them to download my Vcard or Portfolio, all the information they need to know is on there.

Rogue Wave / Nada Surf @ Lee’s Palace

I didn’t mention last week that I went to see Rogue Wave and Nada Surf play at Lee’s Palace. It was an awesome show, the 2nd time i’ve seen Rogue Wave (the first time was with Morgan at the Horseshoe) and the first time i’ve seen Nada Surf after missing them a few months ago.

As expected Rogue Wave was awesome.. Their music has a certain quality which I LOVE.. just something about the way they present their songs on stage is mesmerizing. One other thing of note, I did shake the hand of the bass player when I saw him in the stairwell leading up to the Dance Cave (up above Lee’s Palace). I told him that I loved their set, and that i’d seen them play twice. He humbly said “thanks guy”.

Rock-stardom, here i come.

an article in NOW magazine reviewing the show

Redesign Coming Soon

Theres a redesign to diaryofarockstar.com coming. as I said in my last blog, diaryofarockstar.com will be turning into a portfolio/business site, and diaryofarockstar.com will be my new blog site. Flashpunk.ca will most certainly follow closely behind.
